a couple of things I do / say 1. Why is that so many metal bands are against religion? I mean, most Metal bands sing and have the mentality to live a miserable life, and it seems that religion gives one also (I think I am Catholic, and perfectly happy) 2. My answer to # 1. (# 2 ~ 5 is the same answer: I can not play for beans). Metal has always been built on the ideology and the concept of struggle against society, and many musicians have contempt certain dominant values (religion is a key value). However, what which often ends up happening is that this contempt reasonable (which is logical, if you think about the negative aspects associated with religion, including blind conformity and a great dependence on God) has been distorted in the extreme and often confusing for many values of Black Metal bands. Many of these bands BM persistent attacking Christianity instead of questioning the religion as a whole. While some BM bands are also striking. Unfortunately, that is the belief that the current on any metal, when the subject mentioned above is quite isolated in Black Metal (which occupies a very small amount of metal bands). It is completely ignorant of metal widespread in the negative. So to answer your question, select only a few metal bands are against religion in such an extreme. EDIT: Ah, actually, to # 4: If you 're planning to play Neo-Classical Metal Power Metal, or even (especially neo-classical), which helps a lot if you have classical training. Good luck.
